Rock Star and Teen Queen Cards

The challenge for day 345 at 365 Cards is feeling like a rock star.  The challenge is to add a "rock star" style to your card.  I used my indie art cartridge for the butterfly and the guitar.  The sentiment I made on my computer.

The challenge for day 346 at 365 Cards is teen queen. The challenge it to make a card with a teenage girl in mind, and frame the card with some bling (glitter, rhinestones, pearls - whatever sort of girly thing you have on hand).  I made this card for my niece who will be 16 next week.  Time sure flies!

Pink, Black, & White Valentine Card

Made by Momo's Tuesday's challenge for this week is hot pink, black, white, and at least one heart.  Day 340 at 365 Cards is a white space challenge.  I used a child's year cartridge for the scalloped circle, the love is from home accents, and the heart is from the paisley cartridge.   Have a great day!

Dude Birthday Card

The challenge for day 339 at 365 Cards is half and half.  Split your card in half (any way you'd like), and on one half use a sponging technique on the background, and on the other half do some wet and/or dry embossing. Otherwise, anything goes.  I sponged three different colors for the "sky" and embossed and trimmed the "snow".  I used my dude cartridge for the snowboarder.  Perfect birthday card for my nephew.  Have a great day!

Orange Valentine Card

The challenge for day 338 at 365 Cards is sponsor inspired.  The sponsor this week is SRM stickers, the challenge is to use a Sticker, Ribbon, and Masking.  I decided to make a valentine card for my son who is not into anything too valentiny(is that a word?).  His favorite color, this week, is orange.  I used masking for the stamp, super basic masking since I don't have any fun sprays.  The heart is a sticker.  Have a great day!

Love-Ad Inspired Card

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is an ad inspired challenge.  I used stampin up paper and Tie the Knot cricut cartridge for this card.  I added stickles to the heart, one of these days I'll remember to add the stickles after the card is put together! lol

Thank-you card-Super Sketchy Sunday

Sunday's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday.  This is the card I made for the sketch.  I used some Amy Butler K&Company paper I bought a Joanns a couple weeks ago.  They had a bunch of paper on clearance, I bought this mat stack for 99 cents!  I bought 4 different mat stacks all for 99 cents each.  Have a great week!

2010 Family Page

Creations with Christina is having a challenge to complete at least one scrapbook layout a month.  Since I am sooooo far behind on my scrapbooking I am going to try to make at least one layout a month.  I'm hoping to get more done each month but we'll see.  I copied her idea for the first page of my 2010 album, I decided to make a college from all my pictures from 2010.  I used Home Accents for "family", A Child's Year for the "Our", Tie the Knot for the banner and Don Juan for "2010".  I hope this will motivate me to catch up on my scrapbooking.

Elegant Chandelier Card

The challenge for today at 365 Cards is pure elegance.  I used Stampin' up paper and ribbon and my home decor cartridge for the chandelier.  I added stickles and a gem to the chandelier for some sparkle.  I just started using stickles and I learned next time to put my card together before added stickles.  I suppose I could wait for the stickles to dry but I'm much to impatient to wait for them to dry.   Have a great day!

Super Sketchy Sunday

Sunday's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday.  I used my new Cindy Loo cartridge for the little deer, isn't she so sweet!  I also used my wild card cartridge for the base of the card.  Have a great day!

Teabag Fold Winter Card

Today at 365 Cards the challenge was fun folds-make a teabag fold on your card.  Just the other day I saw this fold on a card and wanted to try it.  I found this fold here.  It was a fun fold to try, you can make several different looks depending on how you fold the squares.  Have a great weekend!

Love Card with Metal

The challenge for day 306 at 365 Cards is metal mania-use at least 1 piece of metal on your card.  The always is a metal shape I've had for awhile.  I used my sweethearts cartridge for the love.  Have a great day!
