Grandma's Card Box

For Christmas this year I made a card box for my Grandma I gave her several of the cards I've made this year.  For the last couple weeks instead of making new cards I finished the insides of several cards.  I saw this project on My Pink Stamper's volume 3 DVD.  The flower I made by cutting several different size circles, melting the edges, gluing the layers together, and gluing 3 pearls in the center of the flower.  Hope she likes it!  Have a wonderful Christmas!!!!

More Glitter Ornaments

Here are a couple more glitter ornaments I made with the kids.  Sorry about the bad pictures, it's really hard to get a good picture of glass.  On these ornaments we used Christmas rub-ons from Michaels, I found them in the aisle with the glass ornaments.  The gold one is actually a plastic one, I wanted to see if the plastic ones would work.  I thought they would be a little more kid friendly.  It worked really well with the glitter it glue.  I'm curious to see what these look like next year.  Have a Wonderful Christmas!!!

Glitter Ornaments

My daughter and I made these ornaments with glitter-it glue and vinyl cut on the cricut.  My Pink Stamper has a video showing how to make the ornament and My Creative Time has a video showing these with different ways to decorate the ornaments.  This is an ornament that turns out so pretty.  I made these with the 3rd - 6th grade girls at church last week and they were a huge hit!  They are glass so be careful, my daughter broke hers so we made a new one today.  The fine glitter works so much better then regular glitter.  We used some glitter from Signature Crafts and some Martha Stewart glitter.  I ordered the glitter it from Signature Crafts, I could not find it at any of the craft stores by me.  It is suppose to be by the Christmas crafts but I could not find it anywhere.   Have a great weekend!

Day 284-Pretty Pockets

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is pretty pockets-create 2 pockets on your card. You can do this in the card, on the front, the card can be a pocket - It's up to you how you go about this, as long as there are 2 pockets.  I made a double pocket card, I found a video here that shows how to make this card.  I put a tag in the first pocket and a gift card holder in the 2nd pocket to hold cash or a gift card.  Have a great day!   *** I made another card the same way so I added the picture of that one too.

Made by Momo's Tuesday challenge #17

Made by Momo has a challenge this week to make treat bag or box.  I used tags, bags, boxes & more and winter woodland for this bag.  This is the perfect size for some lip gloss for my daughter.  Have a great day!

Day 276-Ephemera

The challenge for day 276 at 365 Cards is ephemera.  Yeah, I was wondering too...  It's that stuff that you hang on to and think you might use again? For instance, some tickets to a great show, an old postcard, or a poster from a particular era might be some things you could incorporate into a card.  I have a bunch of tickets saved for scrapbook pages that worked nicely for another guy card.  Have a great day!
