Winter Challenge

My Pink Stamper is having a challenge right now to make a winter  project with your cricut.  I made a snowman card with my accent essentials cart and my doodlecharms cart.  I added a scarf to the snowman with a piece of scrap paper.  I am also posting this for today's challenge at 365 Cards-the challenge is opposite day.  The challenge is to  take a look around you and think the "opposite" of what you see, think or feel.  Here is a picture of what we did yesterday so I think a snowman card is a complete opposite from yesterday.   Have a great weekend!

Day 180-Keep it Simple

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is keep it simple.  You can use one stamped image (can be rubber/clear or digi), one piece of patterned paper, and one piece of ribbon on your card.  Have a great weekend!

Day 179-White Space

The challenge for day 179 at 365 Cards is a white space challenge. Keep your card blank (no matter what the background color) in all the white areas, and the keep the decorations in the blacked out areas.

Day 176-Pierce and Piece

The challenge for day 176 at 365 Cards is pierce and piece.   The challenge is to have both paper piercing and paper piecing on your card. 

Day 173-Don't Forget Your Purse!

The challenge for day 173 at 365 Cards is to make a purse envelope for your card.  The template I used is found at Mirkwood Designs.  I used a new stamp I just bought at Target on clearance.  Tonight we are suppose to go camping for our once a year camping trip with some friends from church.  Well... there are thunderstorms in the area and we are tent campers (did I mention we only go once a year).  Since the campground is only 10 minutes from our house we decided to wait until tomorrow to go.  Hopefully the storms will be gone in the morning!  Have a great weekend!

Day 170-Tuesday Triplets

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is Tuesday triplets-today's challenge is all about doing things in 3's. There are four required items: buttons, flowers, circles, and the color green, and all of these items need to appear in 3's on your card.  My three flowers have circles, three different greens, and three buttons.  Have a great day!

Day 168-Super Sketchy Sunday

Sunday's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday.     I made this card for my brother-in-law who loves batman.  I finished the card in the car and took the picture in the car (which is why it is so shadowy).  The sentiment was done on my computer and the bat is clip art I printed 3 times and cut out and layered.  He thought it was "pretty cool".  Works for me.  Have a great day!  Here is the sketch.

Day 168-A Certain Sentiment

The challenge for day 168 at 365 Cards.  The sentiment is "a little birdie told me", I used my home decor cart for this card and printed the sentiment on my computer.  Have a great day!

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is ad inspired.

Day 163 & 164

The challenge at 365 Cards for day 163 is August inspired.  August 1st is my birthday so I made a birthday card using my cricut- birthday gift from last year, my cuttlebug- birthday gift from this year, and this great paper by "My Mind's Eye, Deena's Penny Lane"-birthday gift from this year.  I love this paper pad, I've used it for most of the cards I made this week.

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is funny formula.  One element on your card must meet the following requirements-flower+pink+stamp (rubber/clear or digi) + glitter.  I used my new paper by "My Mind's Eye, Deena's Penny Lane" for this card too.  The flower on the cat is pink, stamped, and has glitter on it.  Have a great day! 

Day 162-Color Scheme

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is a color scheme.  It is great having time to craft again.  I think our busy summer is slowing down a little.  After having something going on just about every day since school has been out, this week we only have a dentist appointment, orthodontist appointment, and school pictures.  Maybe I'll get caught up on laundry.  Have a great day!

Day 155-159 Card Recipe

I haven't had anytime in my craft room in 3 weeks.  We were on vacation and then we had VBS at church.  Very busy and fun weeks but no time for crafting.  Today I had a little time to make a few cards.  I used card recipes and made cards and used the same papers.  I used the cards recipes from 365 Cards. This week they started with a card recipe and changed it a little each day.
