Sharing what happens in my craft room.

Today's challenge at 365 Cards is in pieces-use an image on the outside of your card, then use it again on the inside but don't use it in the exact same way. I used one of the digital stamps I won from Stretch 'N Bubbles. It's my son's 11th birthday today so I better go make him a card, I don't think he would like this one. Have a great day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is a certain sentiment-you have to incorporate "Hang In There" on your card. I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the monkey and branch and letter stamps for the sentiment. Have a great day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday. Here is my card for today. I used my doodle charms cartridge for the cupcake. Have a great Sunday.
Today's challenge on 365 Cards is I'm touched. On this card, you need to have at least 8 elements (not counting the cardstock or any background paper) and here's the challenge - all those elements must overlap with at least 2 other elements. I knew when I saw this challenge I wanted to make this flower. It is 8 circles folded and slightly overlapped along with a button, sentiment, and a ribbon. I learned how to make this flower at Dawn's Stamping Studio and have been waiting to use it on a challenge. I made a few small changes-smaller circles and I slightly overlapped the petals.
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is a card recipe. Ingredients:
Today's challenge on 365 Cards is DIY- make your on glitter brad and/or pearl. I took a glue dot on a brad and put some glitter on it. I haven't worked with glitter before but I had a jar of it from my aunt, thanks Aunt Donna! I would love to work more with glitter but I have to figure out the best way to use it and how to not get it everywhere. Have glittery day, I know I will.
Today's challenge at 365 Cards was Terrific Ten, ten different patterned papers on one card. You can use more then 10 but you must use at least 10 different patterns. I used 11 different patterns if you count the paper on the flower. I was playing around with my scraps and made a "log cabin square" out of the paper and decided to post this card too. Have a great day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is Stencil It. All you need to do is use a stencil on your card. I wasn't sure if I had any stencils but I found an alphabet stencil sheet. I made a "hello" card. I love this paper pack; it is the same one I used yesterday. It is the best of K & Company and its huge 360 pages. Have a great day!
Today's challenge on 365 Cards is Movie Monday. The task is to use the poster, or anything about the movie (or if you prefer, you can use the animated version) to inspire your card. When I saw the poster I knew I wanted to use this paper. I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm pretty sure this movie is not as little girly as the animated version. So I guess my card is inspired by the poster and the animated version. Have a great day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards was Super Sketchy Sunday. I used my walk in my garden cartridge for today's card. Now I'm off to find my daughter's floor, she lost it sometime yesterday. Happy Sunday!
The challenge for day 20 at 365 Cards is let's make some noise. I made a shaker card using my sweethearts cartridge. This has been fun trying different things. I think I learned a few things I would do differently next time but overall I liked the way this card turned out. Have a great day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is imagine this-the challenge is to think of cotton. What kept running though my mind was-cotton the fabric of our lives. I'm sure it had something to do with getting this image from Stretch N' Bubbles. I really think this girl is cute. I need to work on my coloring, any tips? I probably need better tools. Have a great weekend!
Today's challenge for 365 Cards is a twinchies challenge. You need to decorate a 2x2 piece of cardstock or chipboard or other material. Today my card is green for St. Patrick's Day. Have a great Day!
Today's challenge at 365 Cards is opposites attract-feature a pair of opposite images on your card - sun/moon, sun/rain, boy/girl, etc. I decided to make a spring card. I used the everyday paper dolls and walk in my garden cartridge. For the faces I used Peachy Keen stamps.
Today's Challenge at 365 Cards is Ad Inspired. I cut 2 different sizes of egg on my doodlecharms cartridge and layered the eggs over patterned paper. Here is a copy of the ad. Have a great day!
Last night I found this tutorial at Make It and Love It. I love flip flops. After I sent this to my friend Brenda, who loves flip flops even more then I do had this to say-GASP! swallow...try to control heart rate...we are SOOOOO making these. FUN, FUN, FUN! She totally put my feelings into words! And we are so making these! Summer here we come.
Today's Challenge was Super Sketchy Sunday. This is the card I made today. Happy Sunday! Day 14-365 Cards
Today's Challenge- A Whole New Dimension: Take an image and do just a bit of paper piecing in order to raise some portion of it off the page to give it dimension. Do NOT raise up the entire image. This can be a stamped image or an image cut from patterned paper. I cut a bird with my cricut and the wing is raised along with the tips of its tail. Have a great weekend! Day 13-365 Cards
Today's challenge was Circle Frenzy-include at least 20 circles and use at least 2 different sources on your card. I knew I would include buttons. I love buttons! This is the card I came up with today. Day 12-365 cards Have a great day!
Today's challenge was Lovely Landscape-the background of the card needs to use pattern paper and the card should be an outdoor theme. I want to thank everyone for all the sweet comments on my cards. Being a new blogger and card maker it has been so encouraging. Thank-you! Have a great day! I used my sweetheart cartridge for the tree. Day 11 -365 Cards
Today's challenge was wacky color Wednesday- blue, purple and orange. I decided to make a paintball card. My boys love paintballing and they have a birthday party to go to this week. I used my everyday paper dolls cartridge and I think this is supposed to be a rain splat. I made it purple, blue, and orange and now it's a paint splat. It passed my son's approval so I'm calling it a paintball card.
Here is my card for today. My daughter and I made this one together. This color scheme is more her colors. She is our bright flower. Happy Sunday!| Provided by website-hit-counters.com hit counter site. |
