Purse Shower Favors

One of the projects I have been working on this week is little purse favors for a wedding shower.  I made 80 of these cute little purses.  The lady I made them for wanted the bride and groom's name and the date of the wedding on the front so people could keep the couple and their wedding date on mind and remember to pray for them.  She's going to fill them with chocolate.  This week I'm working on different crafts for a little craft party I'm having for 6 girls from church, 3rd - 6th grade.  They won a contest and the prize was coming to my house for a craft party.  I'll be sharing the crafts we make after the party.  I can't wait, it should be lots of fun!  Have a great day!

Birthday Card with a Hair Clip Embellishment

The challenge for day 10 at 365 Cards is trendy-the challenge is to use one of the latest trends you've seen in paper crafting.  I used a felt flower, I've seen them everywhere.  I've also been searching for them so I'm not sure if they are the latest trend right now. :) This felt flower is a hair clip that my daughter and I made for a friend at school that is having a high school musical birthday party.  Hopefully Amber remembers to tell her its a hair clip.  If not it's a cute embellishment.  Have a great weekend!

Purse's Everywhere

Every year at church we have a girls overnight for grades 3rd - 6th.  The 3rd - 4th graders stay until 9:30 and the 5th & 6th graders stay all night.  This year my daughter is in 3rd grade so she was able to go for the first time, she was soooooo excited.  The theme this year was "purse"uing Christ.  I was helping out this year and helped with several table decorations.  We had purse menus, purse napkins rings, purse signs, purse favors, and purse table decorations.  The colors where pink and black.  We had 3 "purse"onal bars- salad bar, taco bar & dessert bar.  I made cake pops that were a huge hit and delicious, I will definitely make these again.   It was a very fun night for the girls, for the adults too!

"fierce" Card

The challenge for day 7 at 365 Cards is feeling fierce.  You don't need to use the word on your card, but let's see how it inspires your card... I did use the word in my card.  I think my daughter will think this girl is very "fierce".  lol  I used my forever young cartridge for this card.  Have a great day!

Thinking of You Card

The challenge for day 349 at 365 Cards is Shhhhhh....This challenge is all about keeping it quiet...That means to keep the theme subtle and the colors muted.  I used my Cindy Loo cartridge for this card.  This card is very quiet compared to the last card I made.  Have a great day!

Owl Thanks card

The challenge for day 343 at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday.  I used my gypsy wanderings cartridge for the Thanks and my paisley cartridge for the owl.  I also used my new i-rock for the gems which I won from Monica for her 100 follower giveaway.  Thanks Monica!

Rock Star and Teen Queen Cards

The challenge for day 345 at 365 Cards is feeling like a rock star.  The challenge is to add a "rock star" style to your card.  I used my indie art cartridge for the butterfly and the guitar.  The sentiment I made on my computer.

The challenge for day 346 at 365 Cards is teen queen. The challenge it to make a card with a teenage girl in mind, and frame the card with some bling (glitter, rhinestones, pearls - whatever sort of girly thing you have on hand).  I made this card for my niece who will be 16 next week.  Time sure flies!

Pink, Black, & White Valentine Card

Made by Momo's Tuesday's challenge for this week is hot pink, black, white, and at least one heart.  Day 340 at 365 Cards is a white space challenge.  I used a child's year cartridge for the scalloped circle, the love is from home accents, and the heart is from the paisley cartridge.   Have a great day!

Dude Birthday Card

The challenge for day 339 at 365 Cards is half and half.  Split your card in half (any way you'd like), and on one half use a sponging technique on the background, and on the other half do some wet and/or dry embossing. Otherwise, anything goes.  I sponged three different colors for the "sky" and embossed and trimmed the "snow".  I used my dude cartridge for the snowboarder.  Perfect birthday card for my nephew.  Have a great day!
