Just a Note Squirrel Card

Thursday's challenge at 365 Cards is feeling fuzzy-giving some element of your card a "fuzzy" feel to it. I just picked up some "fuzzy" felt cutouts from a friend's craft sale. She had this cutout along with some others and these papers in a kit.  The stamp is CTMH and I used my cuttlebug to cut the scallop squares.

"Blue Ribbon" Birthday Card

Tuesday's challenge at 365 Cards was a Blue Ribbon challenge.  It doesn't actually have to be blue, but at least blue ribbon-inspired. I made a birthday card, I changed the birthday to 4th of July this morning. My son left for camp this morning and I sent it with him since he will be gone for the 4th this year.  I hid it in the pocket of his duffel bag that all his underwear are in, I wonder when he'll find the card...

Turtle Spinner Card

Wednesday's challenge at 365 Cards was to make a spinner card.  I've never made on of these before but the turtle looks really cute spinning across the card.  I used my paisley cartridge for the turtle.  My kids wanted me to make them one with a twenty dollar bills instead of pennies. :)   Have a great day!

1950's Sunglasses Birthday card

Saturday's challenge at 365 Cards is do that decade-the 1950's.  I thought these glasses from my forever young cricut cartridge looked like some cool 50's sunglasses.  I uses glossy accents for the lenses and it made them look very "neato"!  :)  Have a great day!

Peachy Birthday Card

Thursday's challenge at 365 Cards is just peachy-peach needs to be the dominant color of the card.  This was a perfect time to use some of these flowers I had, they where suppose to be pink but they are definitely peachy.  You never can tell when you order online... Have a great day!

Paper Pieced & Fun With Fabric

Monday's challenge at 365 Cards is paper pieced with one image and you can use one sentiment.  I did add some pearls and papers, not sure if this is clean and simple but it was a simple card to make, after I was done cutting the paper for the stamped image.  I really like tools to cut for me.....

Which brings me to Wednesday's challenge at 365 Cards  -fun with fabric.  The challenge is to use fabric a specific way to go with a stamped image.  I cut the image and the fabric with my cricut.  I think this is the first time I've tried cutting fabric with my cricut and it worked beautifully, I used heat n bond on the fabric first.  I don't know if this will qualify for the challenge, no stamped image, but I had "fun with fabric." : )  I'm so happy to finally have a couple cards to post.  I've been busy with other things and haven't posting in a while.  We'll see what the rest of summer brings.  Have a great day!

Here is a picture of some blog candy I won from Paper Transformer last month.  Lots of fun things, I'll have fun playing with it!  I've been so busy these last few weeks I haven't posted anything...  With school out next week I'm hoping to post a few things, who am I kidding with school out I probably won't have anytime.  Hopefully summer will be full of fun times with the kids.  Next year my oldest will be starting high school, where does the time go?  I need to get going on his scrapbook!  Have a great weekend!

Ruffled Birthday Card

This week at 365 Cards was sketch week, I only was able to get to one of the sketches this week.  When I saw this sketch I knew I wanted to try to make a card with a ribbon ruffle.  I'm not sure if I like this card or not, but I'm sure my daughter will love it! (She's 8 and loves anything with ribbons and pink)   Have a great day!

National Scrapbook Day! 5th Challenge

The 5th challenge at My Pink Stamper is to make any 3-D item OR if that is too much of a challenge then add a 3-D item on your scrapbook page or card!  I made this frame for one of the 6th grade girls from church. This is their last year in Awana and we always give them a gift on the last night of club. I used my Forever Young cartridge for the flower, I used one flower make it 9 different sizes and layered the flower and added a gem.  I also used my Home Accents cartridge.  This is an unfinished frame from Michaels that I used mod podge to add paper and added the embellishments.

National Scrapbook Day! 1st Challenge

Today is National Scrapbook Day! My Pink Stamper is having 12 challenges today with many giveaways.  I'm hoping to play along a little today, between a soccer game, baseball practice, paintball, picking up from sleepover, and watching a friend's 2 year old, I'm not sure how many challenges I'll be able to do today.  The first challenge is anything cupcake.  I used my sweet treats & gypsy wanderings cartridges for this page.   Let the crafting begin...
