Today's challenge at 365 Cards is an ad inspired challenge. I used stampin up paper and Tie the Knot cricut cartridge for this card. I added stickles to the heart, one of these days I'll remember to add the stickles after the card is put together! lol
Sunday's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday. This is the card I made for the sketch. I used some Amy Butler K&Company paper I bought a Joanns a couple weeks ago. They had a bunch of paper on clearance, I bought this mat stack for 99 cents! I bought 4 different mat stacks all for 99 cents each. Have a great week!
The challenge for day 326 at 365 Cards is to make a card with the word peace or a card that represents peace to you. This week is inspiration week, with a different word each day. I used my gypsy wanderings for this card. Have a great weekend, I'm off to a Hobby Lobby day with some ladies from church.
Creations with Christina is having a challenge to complete at least one scrapbook layout a month. Since I am sooooo far behind on my scrapbooking I am going to try to make at least one layout a month. I'm hoping to get more done each month but we'll see. I copied her idea for the first page of my 2010 album, I decided to make a college from all my pictures from 2010. I used Home Accents for "family", A Child's Year for the "Our", Tie the Knot for the banner and Don Juan for "2010". I hope this will motivate me to catch up on my scrapbooking.
My Pink Stamper had a blog hop on Friday with a challenge. You need to hop to find the clues for the challenge. I used my Winter Woodland cartridge and My Pink Stamper's winter punnies stamp set for the stamp. Have a great day!
The challenge for today at 365 Cards is pure elegance. I used Stampin' up paper and ribbon and my home decor cartridge for the chandelier. I added stickles and a gem to the chandelier for some sparkle. I just started using stickles and I learned next time to put my card together before added stickles. I suppose I could wait for the stickles to dry but I'm much to impatient to wait for them to dry. Have a great day!
Sunday's challenge at 365 Cards is super sketchy Sunday. I used my new Cindy Loo cartridge for the little deer, isn't she so sweet! I also used my wild card cartridge for the base of the card. Have a great day!
Today at 365 Cards the challenge was fun folds-make a teabag fold on your card. Just the other day I saw this fold on a card and wanted to try it. I found this fold here. It was a fun fold to try, you can make several different looks depending on how you fold the squares. Have a great weekend!
My Pink Stamper is having 2 openings for her 2011 design team. For your submission for the design team Robyn is having a challenge on her blog to make a project using the cricut and your favorite cartridge. The colors for this challenge are her favorite colors-pink, green, brown, and a color of your choice. I used cream for my additional color.
